Continuing the tradition from the last couple of years, Residents' Welfare Association (RWA) of Jal Vayu Vihar, Noida organised an assembly of people, including children and senior citizens on the occasion of International Yoga Day.

Union minister Mahesh Sharma, who is also the Member of Parliament from Gautam Buddh Nagar Constituency, also marked his presence.

Participants from all walks of lives attended the event and made the success organised at the community centre of the residential society.

The event commenced with Surya Namaskar followed by mesmerising performances of yoga and nukad natak (street play).

The eldest members of the group were awarded the title of 'yoga practitioner'.

All the domestic help, working for the yoga practitioners, were sent an invitation to attend the International Yoga Day based on the fundamentals of Global Yoga Mission.

They were taught about good health practices and how inculcating yoga into their lifestyle could bring about a positive change in their lives. Participation from a different section of the society took this event to an entirely different level.
