Residents alleged that the builder has accepted the full amount for their flats but they are yet to get the possession. What is more annoying is the fact that it is a stalled under-construction project.
Around 30 home buyers of Earthcon Casa Royale, an under-construction stalled project in Greater Noida's Sector 1, on Saturday staged a protest outside the developer office in Sector 2, Noida.
They complained that the developers had promised them to give possession of their homes on time. But now, it has now been delayed by years. The project is still under construction, which is also on halt since long.
"This is second consecutive Saturday when we are protesting outside the office of the developer but they are not paying any heed to us. We all are going through huge financial burden as we have to pay monthly rent, EMIs to banks and schools fees for our kids simultaneously," one of the buyers said.
"When we reached the office of the developer, we saw that they locked the doors from outside and went away." the buyers added.
According to the aggrieved owners, maximum of them had made full payment to the developer against the purchase of flats in this under-construction society but the developer has been citing financial constraints to carry out pending work.
The developer has built two high-rises namely Casa Royale and Sanskriti Apartments on a huge parcel of land. Though buyers of Sanskriti have been given the possession, they have expressed huge disappointment despite being in their 'dream homes'.
Ranjeet Dubey, a resident of Sanskriti, said, "Condition of the facility at my society isn't so good. There is nothing to praise about it. We are somehow living in the society."
Another resident, Mayank Kumar concluded saying, "We have been facing problems due to lack of facilities but officials of the management are not aware of it. There is nothing here except the walls on by which the society is standing!"
