Assistant registrar of cooperative society (Gautam Buddha Nagar) has been appointed as the returning officer to conduct free and fair elections.
In this regard, district magistrate BN Singh has appointed the assistant registrar of cooperative society (Gautam Buddha Nagar) as the returning officer to conduct free and fair elections of the residents' body.
The returning officer has written to the former secretary of the Apartment Owners' Association and also to the developer of this group housing society, asking them to do necessary arrangements. They have also been told to put a notification on the notice board of the society informing all other residents regarding the elections.
The returning officer also informed them that the revision of electoral rolls of the society's members will begin from July 17. It will be followed by other campaigning activities.
The election is being conducted under the supervision of the returning officer from the government office as residents of the society complained of an alleged violation of act in the previous elections.
