Dwarka: MP Vijay Goel reaches out to people to listen grievances

Rajya Sabha MP, Vijay Goel, is busy roaming in Dwarka these days to meet with RWAs and managements of the societies. He is meeting people to listen to their grievances. He is conducting meetings inside societies and parks.

On Saturday evening, he met people at Chitrakoot Apartments in Sector 22 and Harsukh Apartments in Sector 7.

On Sunday morning, he visited the DDA park at Sector 11 and interacted with people. He said that people must come forward to raise their issues and they should ask questions to the public representatives and officials of authorities if they were not doing their job for the community.

Goel asked the people to join the mega conference of all Delhi's RWAs and managements of the Cooperative Group Housing Societies (CGHS) to be organised at Talkatora Stadium on July 14, 2019.

Ex-Joint Secretary of Harsukh Apartments in Sector 7, Ravi Jaitely said, “People are not only talking about the problems of CGHS but also the problems lying in jurisdiction of Corporation and DDA.”

“The situation is so worse that people are even asking Vijay Goel to make improvement in the sanitary condition in the area,” he added. Jaitely said that such meetings were being organised to gather people to raise their voice collectively on July 14th mega conference.

General Secretary of Federation of CGHS, Dwarka, Sudha Sinha said that the federation would participate in the mega event if that would be for welfare and not for political gain of a particular party.

“We have not decided as yet on whether we will attend the conference or not. We were there in such meetings with Vijay Goel and we support this if he is doing it for welfare of the people. If it will be having any political agenda, then we would not attend that,” she said.
