Noida: Hyde Park residents take out 'Kalash Yatra' on foundation day of temple

Residents of Hyde Park, a residential society in Sector 78, Noida on Thursday took out a 'Kalash Yatra' on the foundation day of  a temple, which was built recently in the society. 

Around 151 women took part in the procession which begun around 11 am from the society. This was organised on the eve of consecration of idols of Lord Rama, Radhe-Krishna, and Goddess Durga. 

Priests were invited from Kashi-Vishwanath temple in Varanasi for performing the worship and recital of chants.

Pushpendra Pratap Singh, a resident of the society told City Spidey that residents of the society took part in worship with great enthusiasm.

It started late in the morning and continued till evening. The worship was concluded with 'havan' which held around 5 pm on the day. He said that around 2,000 residents from in and around society were distributed 'prasad.'
