Princess Park: Enthused by response, organisers to conduct plantation frequently

The residents of Princess Park, a high-rise in Ahinsa Khand II area of Indirapuram, spent their Sunday morning for a noble cause which included a cleanliness cum plantation drive inside and outside the society premises.

Over 50 residents gathered and helped in cleaning their surroundings. "Cleanliness is basic to the civility. This is our part to keep our surroundings clean and civilized," said Vibhav Garg, General Secretary of AOA of the society.

The event saw participation from all age groups. “From  children as young as 8 years old to senior citizens, we saw heartily participation from all ages,” Garg added.

Moreover, the decent participation of the residents has encouraged the organisers to conduct this drive every month. “The event would be repeated on first Sunday of each month,” Garg informed.

“We had no plans to continue this drive further. But the response of the residents has hugely encouraged us,” added Garg.

However, the next drive is scheduled on August 15. “It is an auspicious day and we can expect much more participation from the residents as all of us gather downstairs for Independence Day programmes,” said Garg.

Besides, the residents have also coined a name for this upcoming monthly drive - 'Clean India, Clean Princess Park.'
