Noida: Negligence at Assotech Windsor Court, residents bear the brunt

Home is a place where you feel safe, where you live comfortably and feel a sense of security but that’s not the case always.

Pabitra Kumar Dash, a resident of Assotech Windsor Court, sector-78, Noida took on to twitter over the miserable condition of his society and how even basic necessities of life seem like a dream to residents there.

While talking to City Spidey, he said “The builder does not provide us any facilities despite receiving a hefty amount as maintenance charges. We don’t have a permanent electricity connection, there is no fire fighting system here and sewerage water remains a constant issue. Noida Authority said it’s an internal matter and they can’t help.”

He further added, “Residents get no account of society’s expenses as there is no transparency. The builder is not even ready to give a detailed account or prepare an official document regarding the same.”

“There are 150 families living here and yet we don’t have a proper security system in place. There’s only one security guard for the entire area! Wonder who is going to save us, if something unformidable happens. This is not the only way that the builder has made our lives pathetic, he hasn’t paid the electricity bill which amounts to about Rs 25 lakhs,” said another irked resident Manish Gupta.

He then added, “The builder does not want to take any responsibility and we don’t have any Residents Welfare Association (RWA), we are undoubtedly living under utter inconvenience.”
