The camp was organised in collaboration of an Non-Government Organisation (NGO) with an aim to provide free health checkup and consultation for the staff. A team of three doctors – Dr Renu Verma, Dr S K Jindal and Dr Amrita Khurana – attended over 100 staff members during the checkup and counselled them for their better health.

It was also informed that the NGO has planned to organise such free health checkup camps in other RAWs and societies.

“Not only staff members but their family members were also allowed for checkup. They came for consultation on one to one basis for parameters including weight, blood pressure, blood sugar and haemoglobin. Medicines such as iron, calcium and antibiotics have been distributed to them as per their need,” said Sanvarjeet Singh, one of the residents in the society.
