To pay homage to the martyrs on 20th Kargil Vijay Diwas, residents carries out a peaceful candle march at Raj Nagar Extension on Sunday evening.
The candle march saw large participation from women and children as well.

The candle march started from the gates of Green View Heights and ended at the roundabout of Aashiyana Chowk where the residents observed two minutes of silence in honour of the martyrs.
Apart from the participation in the candle march, some societies paid homage to the war heroes inside their premises.
Residents of Charms Castle, a high rise in Raj Nagar Extension lit candles, and reminisced the glory of Kargil War.
“It was a frightening time but our brave soldiers handled it,” residents said.
“We are so proud of our defense forces,” said KP Tyagi, a resident of the society.
