With an aim to recognise residents work towards the environment, the Buland Awaaz Welfare Society in association with Residents Welfare Association Sector 27 Gurugram is going to organise Gurugram Green Award on July 28.
The event will be held at a community centre located in Sector 27 Gurugram.
Total 130 awards will be presented to several RWAs, social organisation, educational institutions and individuals in various categories.
Mahendra Yadav, President of Sector 27 RWA said, "The award aims to encourage and inspire others to do their bit towards clean and green Gurugram. We have selected 65 RWAs across Gurugram who have done immensely good work in maintaining cleanliness and increasing greenery in their sectors."
Kuldeep Hindustani from Buland Awaaz Welfare society informed that the programme will have a series of activities, including massive plantation drive, talk show, felicitation ceremony, cultural programme and more.
