Noida traffic police issued an advisory informing commuters about keeping patients, while commuting through NH 24 to their destinations. The advisory came a day after the route witnessed a heavy traffic jam in the evening.
While coming home from her office situated at Barakhamba Road, New Delhi, a commuter said that she was stuck in the traffic jam near Anand Vihar cut on NH 24. She was heading to Indirapuram, where she resides in a high rise apartment. She remarked, "The traffic was on standstill and it took her almost four hours to reach home. The traffic was not being monitored as cops weren't seen on duty."
According to the advisory issued, it says that traffic movements are being diverted in the district keeping Kanwar yatra in mind. It said that there is an overload on NH 24 due to which commuters are travelling through routes in Noida to reach their destination.
These vehicles are passing by Sahberi to Chhajarsi road, model town to NH 24 road, and labour chowk to NH 24, due to which roads in Noida are overloaded. It is suggested that commuters should keep patience as traffic will be normal shortly.TAGS: Noida news / Noida / NH 24 / labour chowk
