Greater Noida: Habitech Panchtatva residents protest over facilities

Nearly hundreds of residents, including women and children living in a multistory residential building, Habitech Panchtatva in Greater Noida West joined hands to raise their voice against pathetic services provided to them by the society developer.

As per claims, they were forced to came out and raise their voice because they have repeatedly received bad services.

Nearly one hundred families are living in their flats in the multistory towers and have deposited maintenance charges in advance for the next two years. They were assured better security services, completion of garden, parking management, electricity, club, any many others facilities.

Rakesh Kumar, one of the residents said, “We were assured during possession that maintenance charges will be included when the services would be started. However, we were forced to pay in advance for two years. Now we are receiving less than half of promised facilities.”

“Swimming pool was developed on first floor area, which is resulting in continuous seepage and leading to weakening the foundation of the building. A gym was recently made operational with charges of Rs 750 per person, which also lacks complete equipment. Everyday there is power fluctuation which some time affects our electric equipments,” Kumar said.

Protesting residents demanded a meeting with the building developers, Sanjeev Kumar and Vipin Sahani. “We have been requesting the management to organise a meeting of the residents with the developer, maintenance department, house keeping management. We are being forced to suffer and are lacking services despite paying all dues in time,” Kumar added.
