Approximately nine acres of land has been earmarked for developing green belt near Eros Sampoornam.
After the continuous demand of residents in last one year, the Greater Noida Authority on Tuesday started developing the green belt area near Eros Sampoornam in Greater Noida West.
Approximately nine acres of land has been earmarked for developing green belt.
Residents of other societies in the vicinity have also been demanding for green belt. They had raised their request with the Greater Noida Authority several times.
“We kept on reminding the authority officials on the subject. Though it is a little late but Authority has finally started work in this direction. It happened because of collective voice of residents of all the societies living in the area,” said Dipankar Kumar, a resident of Eros Sampoornam.
Kumar also said that the Authority had earlier levelled the land and now they have started planting saplings. “We were told that the authority will plant around 1,000 saplings of Neem, Pipal, Pilkhan, Mango, Jamun etc,” he added.
