Residents of Prateek Laurel, a high rise residential society in Sector 120, Noida voted Brig (Retd) Nitish Kumar Misra to power for the management board of the society. He was given highest number of votes during the election of Apartment Owners Association (AOA), which was held on July 28.

Sandeep Kumar Singh was elected as secretary of the association. He made entry to society management board again after a gap of over two years. Earlier, he was president of the association and served residents for two consecutive terms, each tenure was of one year. 

Dr Ashish Goel and Padmakar Jha were elected for the post of vice-president and treasurer. Residents also voted six other candidates to power. 

They were elected as members of the management board, having total strength of 10 office bearers. They are Ajay Kumar Jain, Dr Brijmohan Bhatt, Payal Gupta, Krishnendu Kumar Ghosh, Deepak Chandra Rai and Pradeep Goyal. 

Singh said, “The oath ceremony would be organised on Saturday at the club house of the society. During this, all newly elected office bearers will be administered oath before they take charge of the office of management board.”
