The Greater Noida Authority has issued an advisory informing the buyers about their system to crosscheck the property's details from it. It has mentioned that any information, related to the property they are going to buy, can be availed from a newly set up system.

The Authority said in the advisory that a dedicated counter has been set up at its office for buyers to get information such as allotment of lands, map approval, completion certificate etc.

It said, “The Turn around time (TAT) for the requests will be three working days.”

For this purpose, a dedicated helpline number has also been circulated. Buyers can get information related to the properties by dialing – 0120-2336046,47,48 and 49.

They can register their requests through call center as well. The TAT for processing of requests will be three working days.

It has also mentioned in the advisory that, “Buyers can also get such details from the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA).”

To check the validity of allotment, one can also visit the website of RERA – www.up-rera.in.

Through the advisory, the Authority has cautioned the buyers to refrain from buying properties which are illegal. They said that these properties are fit for living.

It said, “People should take extra care while buying new property and must always check the required details of the property from the Authority or RERA.”

The advisory has been issued keeping in mind the proliferation of illegal properties of late in the city. It also said the sales of illegal properties is rampant these days and one should always move ahead after crosschecking the facts.
