Umbrella resident bodies like Dwarka Forum and Federation of CGHS, Dwarka, met the newly appointed Chief Engineer DDA, Dwarka, AK Aggarwal. Team of both the bodies met the Chief Engineer and discussed the issues of civic fronts of Dwarka with him.

Today, team of Governing Body of Dwarka Forum Chief Engineer at DDA Office, Mangla Puri, Palam, Dwarka, New Delhi. Dwarka Forum and former Chief Engineer (Dwarka), DDA, RK Sharma welcomed the CE with an indoor plant.

President of Dwarka Forum, Sushil Kumar said, “Basically it was an introductory meeting of Dwarka Forum Governing Body with the newly joined Chief Engineer. However Dwarka Forum discussed and arranged the meeting with former Chief Engineer. We also discussed some important issues with CE ranging from the issue of open Palam drain adjoining some societies of Sector -11, Dwarka, New Delhi, de-silting of some left out SW drains and development of Bharat Vandana Park.”

Dwarka Forum also requested Chief Engineer for carpeting of roads particularly service lanes of main road of Sectors 6 and 7, which were dug out by BSES for laying of cables at the earliest possible. General secretary of Dwarka Forum, AS Chatwal said, “ We also informed him that as already decided Dwarka Forum Governing Body in association with DDA will conduct survey to find out broken boundary walls/gates of the parks of entire sub city. As discussed, Dwarka Forum will submit the list of some important issues to him and detailed meeting with Chief Engineer will be held after around one month.”

On the other hand, few days back team of Federation of CGHS, Dwarka too met the Chief Engineer. They discussed the perennial issues pertaining to the city that need to be resolved. General secretary of Federation of CGHS, Sudha Sinha said that the Federation asked the CE to also look at the condition of roads which had been in bad shape for a long time. Sudha said, “We put forth him three major things to look into, work on the roads, horticulture and the repairing or replacement of signage in Dwarka.
