The District Fee Regulatory Committee, Gautam Buddha Nagar, on Saturday imposed fine against six private schools operating in twin cities of Noida and Greater Noida for flouting the rules.

This decision was taken during the hearing held at the camp office of district magistrate in Noida. The committee herd around 27 complaints moved by the parents of the students against respective schools.

As per the list, the committee imposed fine on six schools. Out of six, three schools are based in Noida—Sapphire International School, Vishwa Bharti Public School, Jagran Public School. The Committee has imposed fine of Rs 25,000, Rs 5000, Rs 50000 respectively on them. Whereas, other three schools—Father Agnel School, Ryan International School, Ascent International School are located in Greater Noida. These schools have been fined with Rs 25,000, Rs 25,000, and Rs 50,000 respectively, an official statement issued by district fee regulatory committee said.
