Residents of Gaur Saundaryam, a luxury residential society in Greater Noida West complained that their basement was flooded with rainwater. They said rains exposed low quality martial used in the construction of the building.
Manoranjan Mishra, a resident of the society said, "The water floods throughout in the basement 1 of the society. The sewer and rainwater supply line burst due to the overload, and the entire water drained down in the basement 1. Deep water in basement 1 madeit difficult for the residents to take the vehicles out from the parking."
The maintenance agency deployed a plumber to mend the damage in the supply lines but by that time the rainwater had already entered the basement. Naveen Dubey, another resident said, "I pay high maintenance charge to the developer for this is kind of service in which residents are not able to take their vehicles out from the parking lot."
"The Greater Noida Development Authority should take cognisance of it to initiate action against the developer as it would damage the building as well," Dubey demanded.
Residents of the society complained that the water was also leaking from the roof. Kailash Joshi, another resident of the society said, "Water was dropping down from the roof while it was raining today."TAGS: Greater Noida Development / Gaur Saundaryam / Rainwater
