In order to boost the public transport in Gurugram city, Gurugram Metropolitan City Bus Limited (GMCBL) on Thursday started another bus services route for the residents. The new bus service route no. 111 C has been started from Huda City Center metro station to Bhondsi via Subhash Chowk.

The new bus service caters to the people residing near sector 40, Sector 39-45, Unitech Cyber Park, Sector 46, Bakhttawar Chowk, Sector 38-47, Subhash Chowk, Malibu Town, CD Chowk and Vatika City.  

Chandra Shekhar Khare, Chief Executive Officer of GMCBL said, "The rate has been fixed in two slabs of Rs 10 and Rs 20 for this route. While, the commuter will be charged Rs 10 for up to 15 stops, they need to pay Rs 20 for travelling beyond it. The journey time for this route will be around 55 minutes."

According to the GMCBL officials, the bus timing for first bus from HUDA City Center to Bhondsi is 7.35 am and the last bus at 5:20 pm and the first bus from Bhondsi is available at 8:30 am and the last bus will be at 6:25 pm.

This has been a long pending demand of the residents and they have welcomed the move of starting the bus service for better connectivity. Vijay Singh, a resident of Vatika City said, "Thousands of local residents will benefit from the bus service especially women and elderly who don't have a vehicle and have rely on a cab or an autorickshaw. It will surely increase the accessibility in the sector and also help in reducing traffic and pollution in city."
