RWA election will be for the post of President, General Secretary, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. A complete list of the vacancies and schedule of the elections was displayed on the notice board of the society.
Kapil Dogra, a member of the election committee said, “One flat has one vote and is applicable to either the owner or tenant. But the contestant must be the owner of the flat in the society. Besides, it is mandatory for candidates and voters, both to clear all the dues or subscription."
Election nomination forms will be available from today (Sunday) and the last date of submission of forms is 18th August. Verification process would be carried out till 20th August, and till 21st August candidates will be able to withdraw their nominations. The final list of the contesting candidates would be displayed on 22nd August. The declaration of the result would be made on 1st September.
Primary eligibility criteria for voters and candidates would be clearing all dues towards maintenance bill of the society. Mansukh Sharma one of the election committee members added, “We are giving our best efforts to make this election successful. We appeal to the residents of the society to cooperate and support the election process.”
