Gurugram residents were no behind in celebrating 73rd Independence Day. Residents of various sectors celebrated I-Day by organising several activities in their societies.

Residents of sector 23A celebrated independence day with fervour. To acknowledged the contribution of women in the society this year, the RWA invited Divyani Rani, a resident of the sector as the chief guest on the occasion. The senior members of the sector remembered the leaders who sacrificed their life for the nation.

Residents of H block of DLF-1 celebrated 73rd Independence Day at their society’s park with great enthusiasm and patriotic feeling. The whole park was decorated with tri-colour flags. The celebration began with unfurling of National Flag by senior members of H block followed by national Anthem and sweet distribution. They came together and sung patriotic songs to mark the occasion. Parimal Bardhan, President HBRC RWA and Rahul Chandola, Secretary were present an the occasion.

73rd Independence Day was celebrated at Community Center of Sector 22B. Vijay Arya, resident of the sector hoisted the flag followed by sweet distribution.

The residents of BPTP park serene, a residential society in sector 37D, celebrated India's 73rd Independence Day with much enthusiasm and gaiety. The flag was hoisted by AVM (retd) Ravi Srivastav. It is the first celebration after the abrogation of article 370. Hot air tricolour balloons was released on the occasion as a mark of prosperity and better community living. People from all walks of life gathered at the central park and celebrated I- Day with jubilation.

Independence Day was celebrated by the residents and management collectively of sector 84 of SS The coralwood Gurugram. Children and senior citizens of the society mesmerised the audience and reflected the feeling of patriotism amongst residents. They gave the message of" united we stand and divided we fall".
