They said that without any fault of theirs, they were going through this legal problem
Two days after CitySpidey reported that around 200 flat owners in Gardenia Gateway were issued notice by Union Bank of India asking them to vacate flats within 15 days, the bank has come out with clarification saying the notice was issued to the builder and not to the flat owners.
“Whereas the intimation was served Union Bank of India, Asset Recovery Branch on August 5, 2019 to few of the flat owners of Tower D at GH09, Eco Cit, sector 75, Noida stating that the bank is contemplating recovery action against the builder. We would like to clarify that any of our recovery action is against the builder only and not against the flat owners. Therefore, we have initiated steps to withdraw the notices immediately,” a circular issued by the bank read.
