Residents, including women and children, were enthused to exhibit their talents during the celebrations of 73rd Independence Day, held on Thursday.

During the event, the residents sang patriotic songs and recited poems, whereas, the young children gave eye-catching performances.

On the similar lines, residents of Supertech Capetown, a high rise in Sector 74, Noida organised 'Ek Sham Rashtra Ke Naam', a poem recital event at the amphitheatre of society. Renowned poets were invited for recital of patriotic poems on the occasion.

Naveen Dubey, President of Sahityik Manch of the society said, "It received huge response from residents as they thronged at the venue in large numbers to enjoy the event."

Meanwhile, residents of Golf Avenue-2, another high rise in Sector 75, hosted stage shows by the children and for residents. Brajesh Sharma, a resident of the society told that children presented group and solo dance to mark Independence Day celebrations. Some kids also grabbed attendees' attention with their art of storytelling on the occasion. Adrika Sharma, a budding artist from the society, also performed Kathak, a classical dance form.

Residents of Home-121, a high rise in Sector 121, held a similar event where several children from the society performed on the stage.
