‘Dwarka Hello Moms’ observe sixth foundation day

'Dwarka Hello Moms’ celebrated their sixth foundation day on Sunday. A gathering of children and their parents were present during the occasion. 

The event started with a dance performance of Ganesh Vandana by Prerna, a class 12th student of Basava International School Sector 23, Dwarka. It was followed by a dance performance by the children of 'Dwarka Hello Moms'. Another Oriya dance performance,  ‘Radha nache bo’ was performed by a member of Dwarka Hello Moms Shubhashree Mallik.

On the occasion, different types of activities were also organised in which people recited poems, storytelling, singing songs and shared their life experiences. 

During the event, Gauri Hairanvi, the president of Balmiki Choupal read a poem in Hindi. Meanwhile, Professor Archana spoke about the importance of educating children on eating food without using phones or playing games on mobiles. She said, “We have to inculcate the habit of our Indian culture in the next generation.” 

A song Bacche Man Keh Sacche by Poonam Mahato with students of the Dwarka ‘Hello Moms’ bedazed the audience. The function closed with a fusion dance of Hip-Hop, Bhangra and Bollywood by class 12th students of Basava International School.

President of Dwarka Hello Moms Rajalakshmi Kurup thanked attendees and participants. She said to CitySpidey, “We are an NGO having unity women from Dwarka serving the community. We spread education and do support the kids from the underprivileged section. We are happy in our journey of six years. I appeal to the community to come forward and serve the community.”
