Several issues were raised in the meeting and the RWA has formalised a draft to give a representation to the concerned authority.

The residents of Block E in DLF Phase- 1 held a meeting in the local park on Sunday to discuss various issues in their area.

The meeting was attended by the residents, members of executive committee and RWA members. During the meeting, the residents raised various problems such as lack of security, bad condition of streetlights, roads, pruning of trees and monkey menace in the vicinity.

In a wake of recent murder of an elderly woman in the locality, the residents are apprehensive about the safety and security in the area and asked for its enhancement. During the meeting, it was decided to have one lane representative from each lane who will facilitate for better coordination with the concerned authority, RWA and the management.

Some residents raised the issue of monkey menace which has become a regular problem for them. They have asked the RWA members to apprise the civic authority about the condition so that some concrete action is taken in this regard.

Some of the residents have also raised the issue of not getting electricity bill for the last four to five months which is creating problem especially for the senior citizens. They have also asked for fuming in the area to prevent the spread of vector-borne diseases.

CM Khurana, Executive Member of DLF-1 RWA said, "Several issues were discussed in the meeting and we are formalising a draft to give a representation to the concerned authority to resolve the matter at the earliest. As per the request from the residents, we have decided to open the gate which lies between lane 5 and 6 from 9 am to 1 pm and 4 pm to 8 pm with a security guard.”

During the meeting, RS Rathee-RWA President, Aakritee Kapoor, Suresh Kumar, Sunil Goswami and many others were present.
