'Nandan Van' will be a multi-facilitated park for children and is being built after the success of a similar park in Greater Kailash.

An exclusive children park with a toy train will soon be coming up in sector 19 near Bharat Vandana Apartments in Dwarka, an official from South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) said.
'Nandan Van' will be a multi-facilitated park for children in Dwarka and is being built after the success of a similar park in south Delhi's Greater Kailash, Leader of House SDMC Kamaljeet Sehrawat said.
This will be Delhi's second, and Dwarka's first children park with a toy train and will have far more facilities than the one in South Delhi, she added.
"The park will have swings, slides, gazebo, rope-bridges and other adventure sports facilities," she said adding, a single boggy of the toy train will accommodate four children in one go.
This will be Dwarka's 'mini Appu Ghar' and the concept is for the children to enjoy and learn simultaneously, which will also help them grow through recreational activities, Sehrawat said.
Expressing her joy, Madhu Dagar, a resident of Crescent Apartments in Dwarka's Sector 18A said "This is a praiseworthy attempt of SDMC to give something special for the children of the city. I welcome this initiative and hope that it would be completed in time”.
Another resident, Anjana Sinha of Dwarkadheesh Apartments in sector 12 said, “ This is really a wonderful thing for our children in Dwarka, SDMC should make more such parks”.
