The theme of the exhibition is “Erasing the Scars” and depicts Seher’s battle with depression. The paintings showed each stage of her life with depression and how she fought with it. She has displayed the abstract art and the art as trees. She said that each painting showed her state of mind during each phase of her life with depression. She said that drawing gave her a different feeling and strength to fight with the disease.
Sonia Bhandari, a well established Art Therapist inaugurated the exhibition. She said the most important task is to fight the stigma around mental health and speak about it openly. While appreciating Seher's paintings, she said that while medication was very important, painting or any other creative activity plays a major role in healing. The inner turmoil which builds up a pressure on any individual suffering from depression must be expressed creatively to release the tension. She said every painting here tells different stages of Seher's inner being and what she has gone through. She concluded by saying that any person facing mental health issue should never stop doing creative activities as it is very important to express oneself.

Community people visited the exhibition and also interacted with Seher. They even asked her about her journey. One of the visitors Sujata Wahi said, “ The exhibition is more than just hanging paintings. It is giving a strong message that art could cure you and create a self belief. This is the core thing which I learnt from here. The recovery of mental sickness through painting gives a different feeling.”
