A pack of dogs attacked and severely injured a woman in Shipra Suncity on Thursday evening. The woman has received third degree bites on her stomach and right leg. The severe attack has made the victim receive as many as 17 doses of injections.
The incident happened when the woman, Neelam Singh, a resident of the society, was returning to her home after dropping her son to his tution center. That is when, a pack of dogs attacked and pinned her to the ground. The dogs bit her below the knee and on her stomach. Neelam was saved by another resident who rushed to her rescue after watching her struggling with the dogs. The other woman pushed away the dogs with the sticks.
Family members of Neelam admitted her in a nearby hospital after the incident.
