Senior citizens from Dwarka attended a workshop of physiotherapy today at New Kanchanjunga Apartments sector 22. The workshop was organised by Sukh Dukh Ke Sathi Sanstha, a social organisation of Dwarka, with the help of Phy-Cure, a unit of New Tech Medicine Services.
Experts from Phy-Cure made the people aware about different ailments which could occur with age in the body. They emphasised on what people should do and what they should not to do when they reach a particular age. People learnt about different exercises for different diseases. Experts made the seniors aware about different exercises they should do regularly to keep their body fit. People also asked their queries from the experts.
General secretary of Sukh Dukh Ke Sathi Sanstha and a resident of Chitrakoot Apartments sector 23, PB Mishra said, “The programme got a positive response and community people demanded more such sessions. We are doing all these efforts for the community so that they could take care of their health. More such health related programmes would be organised soon.”
