Noida: Amrapali Zodiac residents complain against clogged water in basement

Residents of Amrapali Zodiac, a partly completed high rise residential society in sector 120, Noida, have been complaining against clogged water in basement of the society for the last twenty days.

They said that it has now been stagnating which is an open invitation for vector-borne diseases such as Dengue and Malaria. But the concerned authority is not paying any heed to these issues which are of grave concerns for the residents of the society.

Joginder Singh, a vigilant resident of the society, shared this on Twitter to raise voice against the lethargic attitude of the authority in solving the problem. In his post post, he said that it is now twenty days since they lodged complaint of clogged water in the basement. But they are still waiting for solution to the problem as an action is yet to be initiated by Noida Industrial Development Authority.

After looking at the post, the authority responded saying that they have noted and will solve the problem soon. Replying to the authority, Joginder said that they said the same thing earlier too but nothing concrete happened. This is the reason that the sewer flow is now coming to the society's drain and flooding the basement.
