Residents of Sector 55 are overjoyed. Gates 7 and 8, closed for 15 years, will re-open this February. There’s more. The Noida Authority is laying an 800-metre road, right outside those gates.
"Years of garbage in front of the gates made it impossible to keep them open. Now that the pile has been cleared, we will have additional entry and exit points to the sector,” says Shrikant Bansal, RWA Secretary of Sector 55.
The road is expected to be ready in the next two months.
