People living in parts of Noida bid goodbye to Lord Ganesh with pomp and splendour on Wednesday.

Residents of Gaur Sportswood, a highrise in Sector 79, Noida, celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great enthusiasm. The three-day celebrations began on Monday, during which various cultural and other events were held. During the celebrations, people took actively part in the activities as well as in the 'Bhog' and the activities held throughout the event. 

Similar celebrations were noticed in sector 77 based highrise Prateek Wisteria, where the residents celebrated with festivity by bringing eco-friendly Ganesha at their residence. On Thursday, the residents bid adieu to the elephant-god, hoping him to return next year.
