Residents of Sector 82 are left with parched throats as the water supply from Noida Authority turns out to be unfit for consumption. Two prominent housing societies, Kendriya Vihar-II and Swarnim Vihar HIG Flats, are particularly affected.
“We shell out rupees four to five lakh annually as water charges. Yet for the last two months, we are denied a basic facility like clean water,” says Krishna Murari, President, RWA, Kendriya Vihar II.
A number of residents have also suffered from water-borne diseases.
"We have complained to Noida Authority, but yet to see any action," said NP Sharma, RWA President of Swarnim Vihar HIG Flats.
Interestingly, MD Pandey, Project Manager of this zone, denied receiving any complains. "We can act only when we receive one," he said.
The case remains unresolved as of now.
