Residents of Exotica Fresco, a high-rise apartment in Sector 137, met officials of work circle seven, Noida Industrial Development Authority on Friday over pending civic issues in their residential areas.
Rama Krishna, a resident, said that after consistent followups with the officials, the raw material is finally at the development site and the work is likely to commence soon.
He said, "A wall around the roundabout, which is nearly 100 meters away from my society's entry gate, needs to be developed for protecting the green cover from stray animals. The work is pending since long."
He further informed that another development of raising the height of the footpath along the drains beside the main road of the sector is also due. Highlighting the intensity of the problem he added that at several points, the drains are also damaged and pose a threat to both, pedestrians as well as animals using the footpaths.
Krishna said, "During the meeting, the officials informed them that the tenders for the development works of drains as well as of the roads have already been floated inviting bids for carrying out the remaining development work. This is the second time when the tender for the road is floated as the previous one had lapsed, as the authority had did not receive any bids for the work."
Residents are hopeful with the authority's assurance for completing the pending development work in their residential pockets.
