With an aim to educate people on cleanliness and pollution control, residents of Sector 27, Noida, carried out an awareness drive on Saturday.
The drive was organised by the office bearers of Residents Welfare Association of the sector, in association with the Noida Industrial Development Authority. The drive will be conducted on every Saturday from today (August 07) onwards and will continue for the next two months.
The rally was carried out in parts of the sector, educating fellow residents and urging them to contribute towards clean and green surroundings.
Rajeev Garg, President of the RWA, appealed residents to extend support for maintaining the cleanliness of the sector. He also asked the people to save water and to minimise plastic usage and segregating domestic waste at source.
