Raj Nagar Ext: GDA orders Gulmohar Garden builder to fulfil residents’ demands

After failing to fulfil its promise of handing over the maintenance charge to the Apartments Owners Association (AOA) of Gulmohar Garden, a highrise in Raj Nagar Extension, the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has now ordered the builder of the high rise to fulfil the demands of the residents as soon as possible.

On August 8, a meeting was held between the authority, builder and the residents where the AOA had presented a list of 18 demands which the residents want the builder to fulfil.

In a letter written to SVP Group, the building agency of Gulmohar, the authority referred the issues the residents listed in the meeting.

The authority has asked the builder to fulfil the demands and handover the maintenance services to the residents as soon as possible.

"Besides handover of the maintenance services and Interest Free Maintenance Security (IFMS) to the AOA, we have many other issues which we want the builder to resolve. Paint of the outer facade has started withering, our basement is filled with seepage, delivery of open parking spaces to the residents, overhaul of fire fighting system etc," told Sudeep Dwivedi, secretary of the AOA.

The authority has also cautioned the builder that ignoring the matter could also impair the law and order situation in the society.

CitySpidey tried to reach the management of the developer but our calls and messages went unanswered.
