The community members were soaked in the festive spirit as they carried out the idols, which will be welcomed again in the next year.

This year's celebrations started from September 2 and were marked with several activities, competitions in which people from different age groups participated.

Puja orgainsed by the Maharashtra Mitra Mandal witnessed  decoration in form of Thanjavur art, whereas, the event organised by the Jagannath Seva Sangh was celebrated with traditional  Odiya style.
