Gurugram: Uniworld Garden- 2 has new RWA team

The Residents Welfare Association (RWA) of Uniworld Garden-2, a high rise society in sector 47, Gurugram, held its election on Sunday.

Society members participated quite overwhelmingly in the RWA election and unanimously elected seven member team of the RWA. Joginder Singh has been elected as the RWA President, Gursimran Singh as the general secretary and Laxmikant Bharuka as the treasurer. Amit Chatterjee, Vivek Bansal, Pooja Kapoor and Pawan Kumar have been appointed as the Vice President.

This is forth time in a row that Joginder Singh has been elected as the president of RWA. He thanked the society people for putting their faith on him. He promised to work for the betterment of the society.

While Speaking to CitySpidey, President Joginder Singh said, "The issues related to the maintenance and completion of the project including parking, club house, repairing of structural damages etc. are on our priority list and we would be taking up each and every matter with the builders effectively."

General Secretary Gursimran Singh said, "We are preparing to link maintenance services with the prepaid meter. We would also form a cultural committee who will look after the cultural and social activities in the society. We would also expedite the completion of basketball and cricket net sport facility, repairing of skating rink. We have further proposed the construction of badminton court."
