With an aim to strengthen the relationship between the residents and the civic authorities, an interactive session was organised on Tuesday in Sector 3, Dwarka.

On the occasion, officials from the Municipal Corporation, Police and Fire Department, along with residents of various apartments and others were present. They discussed various issues including, dark streets, security in the area, poor roads, garbage maintenance and others.  Sharmishtha Chaudhry, a resident of Sansad Bihar highlighted the issue of dark vacant plot allotted for fire brigade project being used by the negative elements. She further asked the police officials to maintain a regular vigil in the area and to resolve the issue as soon as possible. 

Meanwhile, JC Malhotra a senior citizen from Welcome CGHS asked the officials to repair the damaged roads in front of the society. He also raised the issue of encroachment on footpaths that result in traffic congestion. 

The meeting was attended by ACP Dwarka, Rajender Singh; SHO Dwarka North, Sanjay Kundu; Ex-MLA Matiala, Rajesh Gahlot, representatives from Councillor of the area and the other officials from the Fire Department. ACP Rajender Singh assured the residents to take the subjects into concern and do the needful.

Speaking about the vacant plot, the fire officer said that the works for the fire station will begin soon.
