With an aim to beautify their residential pocket, people from high rises of sector 137 volunteered to paint the walls of a public park in the sector.

The theme for painting was nature. The residents displayed their artwork on saving environment, water, planting trees. The main idea of painting the walls of the park was not only to beautify the residential pocket but also to educate the residents on saving the planet.

Vimal Bhatia, S K Gautam, Manish Mishra, Vikas Rai, Ashish, Kritika Srivastva, Archana and Abhist Gupta are some of the volunteers who made some beautiful paintings on the wall. They informed that on every weekend or holiday they do their bit to beautify their residential pockets.

The painting attracted the attention of Noida Industrial Development Authority, which is also carrying out some amazing work throughout the city in order to make it beautiful. They have already installed tricolor lights on several stretches of roads in the city. The authority also has converted walls of the administrative building in sector 6 into artwork.

Appreciating the efforts of sector 137 residents in making their residential area beautiful, Rajeev Tyagi, General Manager of Noida Authority appealed all the residents across the residential pockets to contribute in making their respective area beautiful.

He said, "It is a good initiative taken by sector 137 residents and residents of other residential pockets are hereby encouraged to do more such artwork in areas where they are residing.''
