On Thursday night, DCP Dwarka Anto Alphonse visited several parks in Dwarka North Police Station areas.

To carry out safety and security checks in parks after dark, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) and his team have started sudden visits to neighbourhood parks in Dwarka area. 

On Thursday night, DCP Dwarka Anto Alphonse visited several parks in Dwarka North Police Station areas. With him, ACP Dwarka, Rajender Singh and other police officers were present.

DCP went to the park at night and met the people there. He also had interaction with them. 

During the interaction, he made people feel confident about their well-being especially after dusk. He assured proper security to people in the park.

DCP said that the sudden visits would help in creating a good bond between the police and the community. 

As per the police, more sudden visits are planned in other police station areas. 

Dwarkites have welcomed the yesterday night’s visit of DCP, ACP and their team in the parks. They assured all kinds of help in policing.

President of Ganpati Apartments Sector 9, KS Bhati said, “I knew about the visit through photographs shared in the groups by the people. This is such a wonderful start for us. It must continue.” 

JC Malhotra, a senior citizen from Welcome Group Cooperative Group Housing Society, Sector 3 said that such a visit would bring people closer to policing and make the park safer after dark.
