The authority is organising a ceremony at Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra, to mark the beginning of the sub competitions.
With an aim to garner maximum participation for cleanliness and doing away with poly bags, the Noida Industrial Development Authority on Thursday rolled out a sub competition among all, including residents' bodies, registered market associations, institutions, etc.
Under the competition, the authority will select the top-ranked participant on the basis of the best contributors for cleanliness and plastic-free city. The best contributors in terms of maintaining cleanliness and abstaining from usages of single-use plastic will be awarded.
According to officials, the authority is organising a ceremony on Saturday at Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra, Sector 6, to mark the beginning of the sub competitions. It will be held at 11 am, the official informed.
The official further said that the authority is participating in Cleanliness Survey 2020 league organised by the minister of housing and urban affairs.
As per the rules of the league, the participant has to hold three sub competitions in a gap of every four months during which the authority will give ranking to participants of sub competitions.
