Following the severe water crisis at Supertech Ecovillage-2, the Greater Noida Authority in its inspection found lapses on the part of the builder. It has sent a notice to the builder asking him to fix the malfunctioned booster pumps installed at the society.

The situation was very grim at the society during the water crisis. People were forced to carry the buckets of water procured from tankers to their respective homes.

The situation exacerbated to such an extent that people had obstructed the vehicular movement on the expressway. As the situation worsened, the builder had accused the technical glitches at the pumping station of the authority.

The authority then carried out an inspection at the society where it found that out of the three booster pumps installed at the society, two were in the malfunctioned state.

Now, the furious officials of authority have asked the builder to reply on the matter with an explanation. They have also initiated action against the builder.

In its report, the authority said, “The only one booster pump was working in the society. And due to which, the required amount of water did not reach the tanks.” It also mentioned that water demand was also high at that time.

The authority has asked the builder to address the matter at the earliest. They have also warned the builder of action if he fails to improve the situation.
