Now get immediate assistance from Delhi Police on ‘Tatpar’ app

Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG), Anil Baijal, launched newly-integrated one-touch mobile app 'Tatpar' in New Delhi on Wednesday. The app aims to provide better security and facilities on 24x7 basis to the citizens of Delhi.

Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik, Ministry of Electronics and IT Secretary Ajay Prakash Sawhney and several other senior police officers were present at the launch of the app at India Gate.

Delhi Police has claimed that the app is a one-stop destination for access to over 50 citizen-centric services. Besides, it includes all the important websites, mobile applications and helpline numbers of Delhi Police.

The app allows Delhiites to share information about a suspicious vehicle, person or crime to the police. Moreover, users can find out about their nearest police station, traffic pit and prepaid taxi booth through the app.

The new app will provide directions as well as complete contact details of the concerned Station House Officer (SHO) of a police station on a single touch.

Apart from providing traffic services, missing person services, eFIR registration, facilities for senior citizens etc, Tatpar app has a special feature SOS button which is provided on the home screen.

The SOS button will help a person to contact an emergency number (SOS) of their choice or reach out to the Police Control Room (PCR) with a single touch.

The Tatpar app can be downloaded on mobile phones from Google Play Store.
