FONRWA delegation meets Noida CEO with list of demands

A 19-member delegation of Federation of Noida RWAs (FONRWA) office bearers called on Ritu Maheshwari, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Noida, on Thursday at her office with a charter of demands including upgradation of essential services for them.

The delegation submitted a memorandum to the CEO highlighting various problems faced by the residents of Noida such as stray dogs, shortage of quality water, lack of boundary walls around certain residential sectors, creation of markets in new sectors etc.

They sought support of Noida Authority officials in the recovery of outstanding subscription dues from the residents of each sector, repair of LED lights and covering of open drains running through parts of the city.

The delegation comprised of Yogendra Sharma, president of the federation; KK Jain, general secretary; Ashok Mishra, treasurer; Col Shashi Vaid, senior vice-president; Rajeev Garg, snior vice-president and other office bearers. Avinash Tripathi, OSD with Noida Authority, also joined them when the meeting was in progress.

Vaid said that the CEO gave the delegation a patient hearing and noted all the points raised by them during the meeting. At the end of the meeting, she assured them of appropriate action on all the matters.

“She also asked the delegation to submit details of the construction work to be undertaken for such as boundary walls, local markets and community centers,” he added.

Maheshwari made an appeal to all the delegates to participate in large numbers in the 'Swachh Abhiyaan,' to be carried out between September 21 to October 2.

The campaign will commence at Noida Stadium and will be carried out in all over Noida.
