A woman in her late 60s, a resident of Paramount Floraville, a highrise located in Sector 137 in Noida, died under mysterious circumstances. The deceased is identified as Renu Goswami.
According to the police, on Wednesday night when the deceased did not open the door for her sister-in-law, who lived with her, she grew suspicious and with the help of security guards broke open the door. As she entered the house she found Goswami lying unconscious on her bed.
A resident of the society immediately dialed 100 and informed the PCR staff about the incident.
"With the help of the security guards, her sister-in-law rushed Goswami to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead. The body has been sent for postmortem and further investigation is on,” said Jitendra Dikshit, SHO, Surajpur police station.
As per the information, Goswami was unmarried and was staying with her brother and his wife. A few years ago, her brother passed away, but she continued to stay with his wife.
