The RERA will take decision after receiving reports from all the development authorities in the state.
Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP-RERA) is awaiting reports from all the development authorities in the state before taking a decision on issuance of completion certificate to group housing societies.
The authority has received detailed reports regarding completion of group housing societies and high-rise buildings from development authorities of Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida and two others in a meeting held on Friday.
The meeting was convened to take stock of the group housing societies or high rises which have yet to receive or applied for completion certificate since 2010.
At the meeting, the RERA issued a directive, “If the application for completion certificate is in proper order, authorities should issue completion certificate within seven days of applying.”
