Children along with their parents carried out cleanliness drive in playground and other areas at Century Apartment in Sector 100, Noida on Saturday. It was the sixth consecutive week of the cleanliness drive. The residents have been consistently cleaning the society.
Ritu Gupta, vice president of RWA, informed that the drive began at 7 am and was continued for next two hours. They picked up all waste dumped in the children playground, park and roads in the sector.
Residents also agreed to contribute for making plastic-free city by reducing the usage of single-use plastic carry bags in their day-to-day lives.
Gupta informed that they are also preparing for plog run which will be organised by Noida Authority on October 2. She said that residents are being encouraged to participate in the run for making the city free from all kinds of dirt.
