Sharma requested the police to register an FIR against the suspected gang.
The residents’ body of Sector 108 on Wednesday filed a complaint with Noida police of an attempted robbery in their residential pockets.
Ramveer Sharma, president of RWA, Sector 108, complained to Sector 39 police station that on-duty guards spotted a gang of unidentified men jumping boundary wall of the sector on Tuesday night.
As per guards, the intruders were five to six in number. The guards were able to catch hold of only one of them while the rest could be able to make good their escape.
The guards recovered a mobile handset and a small package of marijuana from the possession of the intruder who identified himself as Suhail.
Sharma demanded that the police register an FIR against the suspected gang. He also requested them to uncover the hidden gangs operating in the area. He insisted that the police should initiate an investigation into the matter.
