Alag Karo – a waste segregation campaign at Grand Omaxe

Residents of Grand Omaxe, a high rise society in Sector 93A, ran a waste segregation campaign, Alag Karo (separate), to acquaint the residents about kitchen waste processing and its benefits in protecting the environment.

The campaign was carried out on Wednesday, almost a month after it was started on September 1. Office bearers of the society's board management said the campaign was started to prepare the residents for wet waste segregation at source.

The office bearers informed that the committee for waste management in the society engaged several children and adults in the campaign. They urged the residents to do the segregation as per the statutory requirements.

They said the committee rose to the occasion and put up a stellar performance, with the help of the society's infrastructure and support manpower, to ensure success of the campaign in the condominium.

"I can say our 'Mission Swachh Grand Omaxe' is going to be a reality soon," asserted an office bearer.

"I am pleased to share an update on the activities discussed during one of the meetings held on August 25, 2019. The board gave a green signal to implementation of waste segregation at source in the society."
